Pearl Flutes at NFA Las Vegas
Pearl Flutes had many artists performing at this year's NFA convention in Las Vegas. Holly Hofmann and Zachary Kellogg were featured in a Pearl Sponsored presentation showcasing two generations of Pearl Flute artists! Holly and Zach performed a very special arrangement of pianist Mike Wofford entitled "You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To"
Nestor Torres made a surpriise appearance on Holly's featured Saturday Night Jazz Showcase. Nestor jumped up on stage and joined Holly completely having the audience cheering for more. Magic moments occur at NFA each year and this surely was one of those tremendous moments of breathtaking and passionate flute playing!
Billy Kerr and Lori Bell also performed in featured segments of various concerts. Back at the Pearl Booth Sheridon Stokes presented his new book revealing a collection ofanecdotes from his illlustrious career.
Throughout the convention were heard the great sound of Pearl Flutes of all forms. Basses, Alto and Piccolos in Flute ensembles, Solo flute playing, with many adding their voice within the many ensembles performing at NFA.
Pearl's own Joe Butkevicius was on call for a hands on session clinic of flute repair. All in attendance had a great time!
